We dug deep into the archive. A trove of treasures. Artefacts of life of a true British hero. One discovery was an elegant Art Deco silver trophy crafted by Garrards of London, presented to Sir Malcolm Campbell in 1938 by the United Nations in Geneva. With some polish, a new carved plinth and a new life - the BlueBird Cup is awarded now each year for a race between true sailors of the sea. A little silver plaque reads "Speed under Sail". Sir Malcolm would be proud.
