ART DECO INTERIOR

"All in all, the restoration of Baruna was an extremely labour intensive and time consuming project. The faithful reproduction of the deckhouse is only one of many examples. This was based on the historical original down to the smallest detail. Certainly, a new building according to the original plans, a replica, would have been much easier. But the owner of Baruna is not the man who would be satisfied with a replica. All his yachts are historic originals, restored to the highest standard. He has a keen interest in the origins of yachts, and not only there. As an art lover, for example, he is guided by similar motives: here, too, only the original counts."
